------------ GREEN RESPONSIBILITY
Our respect for the world around us is reflected in the quality of our sustainable and durable products. We strive to limit the use of natural resources and reduce energy consumption wherever possible and we re-use and recycle industrial waste during all stages of our production. We use certified, traceable raw materials and our working environment is designed and constantly improved for the benefit of our workforce.
------------ SUSTAINABLE COTTON AND NATURAL FIBERS
Our natural raw materials and natural blended fibres are sourced from certified producers. We use organic cotton, grown without the use of synthetic pesticides and we are increasing our use of regenerative cotton, which preserves soil health and biodiversity. For our luxury cotton collection, we use the finest Giza 94 Egyptian cotton. To further reduce water consumption, we have integrated natural fibers, such as tencel, modal and certified organic hemp into the collections. Our fabrics are not just made with maximum care for the environment during manufacture, but the minimum use of chemicals results in comfortable, breathable fabrics that look and feel great.
------------ RECYCLING
We constantly improve and update production facilities and practices to reduce energy consumption, waste and the impact of harmful chemicals on the environment. Our factories use recycled treated water and we also collect and reuse pre- and post-consumer yarns in our textile manufacturing. We recycle caustic soda and have our own sewage treatment plant. We are proud of our fully-integrated recycling facility Tadweer, which became operational in 2003.
------------ REDUCING
Our team is constantly researching and developing technologies in order to reduce our production of waste and energy consumption. We strive for efficiency in every stage of production, be it weaving, dyeing or finishing processes. Almost a quarter of the energy required in our factories in Türkiye is provided by photovoltaic cells. We regularly update our processes with the most advanced technologies in order to minimize the use of resources.
------------ SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
The wellbeing of our workers is of primary importance. We honor our responsibilities to the people who work with us by providing a safe and healthy workplace and training. We also build affordable accommodation, leisure, and education facilities for the benefit of our employees. Our responsibility extends to our neighboring factories, to whom we offer free work safety training.
